Japeth Aguilar Drafted in the D-League

Japeth Aguilar was drafted in the NBA basketball D-league on November 3, 2012.
Japeth Aguilar which is a 25 year old, 6'10" man who once played in the Ateneo UAAP team, PBA teams as well as Smart Gilas was drafted in the NBA d-league.

Japeth Aguilar was drafted by the Santa Cruz Warrior in the seventh round which Aguilar was the 14th player to be drafted. With being drafted, Japeth Aguilar is officially the first Filipino to play in the NBA D-league.

Getting drafted in the NBA D-league is Japeth's hope to show his skills in this minor league of the NBA and be noticed by NBA agents and that will help him to be drafted in the NBA. While I don't want to discredit Japeth Aguilar's achievement, getting drafted in the 7th round means that he will be mostly benched or be a 2nd or 3rd substitute to the team's starter player who also wants to show their skills and to land in the NBA.

My only advice to Japeth is to play aggressive if he gotten the chance to play as being benched all season long will not be useful on his dream to become an NBA player.
