In a regular matchup in the UAAP, Arvie Bringas was caught spitting at the ADMU bench after he collided with an ADMU player named Greg Slaughter. The spitting event happened with just 5 minutes left in the game and it was clear that FEU would lose with ADMU having a 17 point lead against FEU.
But it is not the first heated moment of the game. Before finishing the first half, FEU player Mac Belo and ADMU player Ryan Beunafe was both ejected because of an heated exchange after a foul.
Arvie Bringas would be suspended because of his unsportsmanlike conduct. ADMU won against FEU with a score of 77-64
